Pet Pain Management
Pet Pain Management
It is a well-known fact that animals feel pain and suffering in the same way that people do. The issue is recognizing the slightest indicators that our pets are in pain because they are skilled at hiding their agony. We acknowledge the importance of pain management at Adobe Animal Hospital of Soquel and use a multi-modal approach to ensure your dogs receive the best possible care and relief.
Our compassionate veterinarians and staff recognize that pain can be caused by a variety of circumstances, both acute and chronic. To treat these various pain issues, we provide a comprehensive choice of pain medications tailored to each pet’s needs. Furthermore, we incorporate holistic treatments into our pain management procedures, offering alternative and complementary therapies that improve your pet’s comfort and well-being.
Dr. Bannerman, a respected member of our team, has been actively involved in The International Veterinary Pain Academy since 2007. This organization enables her to stay current on the newest advances in pain management and to network with leading veterinary pain specialists from around the world. Furthermore, Dr. Bannerman’s knowledge goes beyond conventional medicine. She brings a holistic approach to pain care as a trained Veterinary Acupuncturist with experience in Veterinary Rehabilitation and physical therapy.
At Adobe Animal Hospital of Soquel, our objective is to blend the best of Eastern and Western treatment to keep your pet comfortable for as long as possible. We develop tailored treatment strategies for each pet by incorporating several areas of pain management. Whether we use pain meds, acupuncture, therapy, or other approaches, we aim to ease your pet’s suffering, improve their quality of life, and provide them with the care and compassion they deserve.
We are committed to improving the overall well-being of your furry companions by using a multi-modal approach to pain management and the knowledge of our dedicated team.
